The CLEVELAND C16810 is a taper length cobalt drill bit engineered for heavy-duty metal drilling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers superior heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The 135-degree split point reduces thrust, minimizes walking on entry, and eliminates the need for a center punch on most surfaces. The parabolic flute geometry accelerates chip evacuation and keeps the cutting zone clear during deep-hole drilling. At 0.1575 inches (4 mm) in diameter with an overall length of 5.748 inches and a flute length of 3.386 inches, this bit covers taper-length reach requirements that standard jobber bits cannot meet. It is sold individually.
The C16810 is suited for production and maintenance drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Its rated material application list includes aluminum, brass, carbon steel, cast iron, nickel alloy, plastic, stainless steel, and tool steel.
