The 135-degree split point geometry reduces walking and lowers the thrust needed to start a hole, so no center punch is required on most surfaces. The parabolic flute profile accelerates chip evacuation and reduces heat buildup during deep drilling operations. At 4 inches overall length with a 2.5-inch flute, this is a compact stub-style bit suited for close-quarter machine setups.
