Installation Notes

Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with taper-shank tooling. Insert the shank firmly into the spindle socket and seat it with a moderate upward tap using a rubber mallet — never use the spindle quill feed to force-seat the taper. To remove, use the appropriate drift key in the spindle slot; do not strike the bit directly.
