The CLEVELAND C11410 is a cobalt jobber-length drill bit designed for demanding metalworking applications. Built from M42 high-speed cobalt steel and finished with a TiAlN coating, this bit maintains cutting performance at elevated temperatures and resists wear when drilling hard or abrasive materials. The 135-degree split point starts on contact without a center punch, reducing walking on flat or curved surfaces. At 0.1935 inches in diameter (wire size 10) with a 3-5/8-inch overall length and a 2-7/16-inch flute length, this bit suits typical drilling operations in both handheld and machine-tool setups. Installation is handled by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and maintenance mechanics.
This bit is optimized for drilling cast iron and stainless steel, where heat buildup and work hardening are primary concerns. The parabolic flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, reducing clogging during deep-hole passes. The straight cylindrical shank accepts standard drill chucks on drill presses, CNC machining centers, and portable power tools. The web-thinned, tapered web construction reduces thrust load at the cutting tip, allowing cleaner entry and improved hole quality. This bit is sold individually and is suited for production environments and job-site maintenance tasks alike.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for wire size 10 jobber-length drill bits in Series 2075A applications. Fits any standard drill chuck accepting a 0.1935-inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible with drill presses, CNC machining centers, and portable power tools. Primary workpiece materials are cast iron and stainless steel.
This bit is installed and used by machinists, maintenance mechanics, and metalworking professionals. Secure the straight cylindrical shank fully in the chuck before operation and verify chuck tightness. Use appropriate cutting fluid or coolant when drilling stainless steel to manage heat, even though this bit does not support through-coolant delivery. Inspect the cutting edges before each use and replace the bit if the TiAlN coating is visibly worn or the point geometry is degraded.
