The 118-degree standard point angle delivers consistent entry geometry on a wide range of workpiece materials. At 2.5 inches overall length, the short-series body fits tight clearances and stub drilling applications where a jobber-length bit would not seat properly. Two spiral flutes clear chips efficiently, and the straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.2380 inches in diameter for direct chuck mounting. Web thinning reduces thrust requirements at the point.
