The CLEVELAND C01013 is a jobber-length twist drill bit designed for precision drilling in metalworking applications. Built from high speed steel with an oxide finish, it measures 0.35 mm in diameter with an overall length of 0.748 inches and a flute length of 0.1181 inches. The 118-degree standard point angle and tapered web configuration provide clean entry and efficient chip evacuation. With a straight-cylindrical shank and right-hand spiral flute, this bit is a general-purpose tool suited for machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working with small-diameter holes in ferrous materials.
This drill bit is rated for use in cast iron and steel workpieces and follows the DIN 338 and ASME B94.11M standards. It fits applications where sub-millimeter precision drilling is required, such as instrument manufacturing, small component fabrication, and precision maintenance work. The Series 2001 designation places it within a consistent product family for repeat sourcing. The 0.0138-inch decimal equivalent diameter makes it a practical choice where metric and inch-measurement workflows intersect on the shop floor.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber-length drill bit rated for cast iron and steel workpieces, compatible with any standard drill chuck or collet system accepting a 0.35 mm straight-cylindrical shank.
This bit is installed by machinists and tool-and-die technicians using standard drill presses, CNC drilling centers, or hand-held drilling equipment with an appropriate collet or chuck. Secure the shank fully in the chuck before operation and verify runout is within acceptable tolerance for the application. At sub-millimeter diameters, feed rate and spindle speed selection are critical to prevent breakage — consult published cutting data for HSS tooling in the target material. Coolant through is not supported on this bit; apply cutting fluid externally when drilling deeper holes in steel.
