The Chicago Protective Apparel HNS is an 18 in knit Nomex III heat resistant sleeve that protects the forearms and other portions of the arm when working near hot solid surfaces. It permits contact with surface temperatures up to 700 F (intermittent) and supports continuous handling up to 500 F. The sleeve includes a thumb hole, elastic openings at both ends, double-stitched seams and breathable knit construction while providing cut, heat, and spark resistance.
