Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a coated finish, it measures 0.0935 inches in diameter, equivalent to wire gauge size 42, with an overall length of 4.25 inches. The 118-degree standard point angle suits a wide range of production and maintenance drilling applications. The web-thinned, tapered web configuration reduces thrust and improves chip evacuation. Right-hand spiral flute geometry moves chips efficiently out of the hole. This bit is sized and configured for use by machinists, maintenance mechanics, and tool-room technicians.
The 50332 is intended for drilling alloy steel, carbon steel, and cast iron in light manufacturing, job shop, and industrial maintenance environments. Its 2.25-inch flute length and 4.25-inch overall length provide the extra reach typical of taper length geometry compared to jobber-length bits, making it useful where standard-length bits cannot access the full depth of a hole.
