Ground from high speed steel (HSS) with an oxide finish, it carries a 118-degree standard point angle and a web-thinned, tapered web configuration that reduces thrust at entry. The 0.1850-inch diameter corresponds to wire gauge size 13. Flute length runs 3.375 inches with an overall length of 5.75 inches, giving the bit extra reach compared to a jobber-length equivalent without sacrificing rigidity. A right-hand spiral flute clears chips efficiently during through-hole work. This bit is sold individually and is intended for use by machinists, maintenance mechanics, and metal fabricators.
