The CHICAGO-LATROBE 46006 is a jobber-length twist drill bit designed for general-purpose drilling in steel and similar materials. Built from high speed steel (HSS) with a bright uncoated finish, this bit measures 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch decimal) in diameter with a 2-1/4 inch overall length and a 1-1/4 inch flute length. The 118-degree standard point angle and fast spiral flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation during through-hole and blind-hole drilling. A web-thinned, tapered web reduces thrust requirements at entry. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks without adapters. This bit is sold individually and is part of the Series 150B general-purpose line.
