The tapered web configuration and web-thinned geometry lower thrust requirements and improve chip evacuation. A 3-3/4-inch spiral flute length and 6-1/8-inch overall length make it well suited for deeper hole applications where a standard-length bit falls short. Right-hand cut with a straight cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks without adapters.
