Product Description

The Chatsworth 12730-712 is a mounting plate designed to secure a runway to the top of a universal rack while minimizing intrusion into the mounting space. The combination of the flat plate and hat-shaped bracket creates a clamp that fits around the rack's top angles or top bars. This mounting setup can be configured to mount either parallel or perpendicular.

For proper attachment on a six inch runway, it is recommended to use top bars, specifically from the 13045 Series, instead of top angles. To ensure an effective installation, the Runway Elevation Kit (Part Number 10506) is suggested, which includes:

• (1) mounting plate
• (2) hat-shaped brackets
• (2) J-bolts, 5/16-18 x 2-1/4 inches
• (3) hex nuts, 5/16-18
• (3) split lock washers, 5/16 inches
