The Charlotte Pipe Foundry Co. PVC30030P0800 is a 3-inch diameter, 10-foot length perforated solid wall PVC sewer and drain pipe designed for non-pressure subsurface drainage applications. Manufactured to ASTM D-2729 standards, this pipe features a bell end for solvent weld connections and is supplied with two rows of 1/2-inch diameter holes spaced every 5 inches along the pipe length. The two perforation rows run parallel to the pipe axis and are positioned 12 inches apart from each other. Licensed plumbers and drainage contractors install this pipe in gravity-flow drainage systems where controlled water infiltration or exfiltration is required.
This perforated PVC pipe is suited for residential and commercial non-pressure drainage applications including foundation drainage, leach fields, French drain systems, and subsurface stormwater management. The solid wall PVC construction provides durability in buried installations. The bell end design accepts solvent weld fittings standard to sewer and drain PVC systems, making integration with existing drain networks straightforward. It is not rated for pressure service and should only be installed in gravity-flow or low-pressure drainage configurations.
Designed as an ASTM D-2729 compliant perforated sewer and drain pipe for use with standard 3-inch sewer and drain PVC solvent weld fittings and couplings in non-pressure gravity drainage systems.
Installation of perforated sewer and drain pipe should be performed by a licensed plumber or drainage contractor in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Disconnect or isolate any connected systems before cutting or joining pipe. Solvent weld connections require appropriate PVC primer and cement rated for sewer and drain applications. Perforated pipe installed in drainage beds should be wrapped in filter fabric or surrounded by clean aggregate as required by design specifications to prevent soil infiltration into the perforation holes.
