Each length measures 3 inches in diameter and 10 feet long with a plain end for field cutting and solvent-welding to standard DWV fittings. The thin-wall Schedule 30 construction reduces weight compared to Schedule 40, making it a practical choice where non-pressure code compliance and ease of handling are priorities. This pipe conforms to ASTM D-2949 and meets NSF Standard 14, confirming it is independently tested and listed for potable-water and drainage system use.
This pipe is used in residential and light commercial DWV rough-in work, including branch drains, soil stacks, and vent runs. It is installed by licensed plumbers and plumbing contractors working on above-grade drain, waste, and vent systems where non-pressure service conditions apply. Plain-end pipe is suited for job-site cutting and solvent-cement connections using standard PVC primer and cement. This SKU is sold as a package of 10 lengths.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code and applicable local codes. Shut off the water supply and verify the system is fully depressurized before cutting into any existing line. Use a fine-tooth saw or pipe cutter rated for PVC, deburr all cut ends, and apply listed PVC primer before solvent-cementing to fittings. This pipe is rated for non-pressure DWV use only and must not be used in pressure-rated water supply applications.
