The CHARLOTTE PIPE PVC-504-6X6X3 is a two-piece PVC combination wye and 1/8 bend fitting designed for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) applications. It features a 6-inch by 6-inch by 3-inch configuration, allowing a 3-inch branch to intersect a 6-inch main line at a gradual sweep angle. This fitting is intended for non-pressure, gravity-fed waste elimination systems only and is not rated for pressurized service. Maximum service temperature is 140 degrees F. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in residential and commercial DWV rough-in work using solvent cement, threading, flanging, or roll-grooved joining methods.

This fitting is suited for residential and commercial DWV systems where a branch takeoff is needed from a large-diameter main drain line. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off water supply and verify the drain system is depressurized before cutting into an existing line. When solvent cementing, use a PVC-rated primer and cement appropriate for DWV applications and allow full cure time before returning the system to service. This fitting is not suitable for pressure piping, potable water supply lines, or applications exceeding 140 degrees F.
