The CHARLOTTE PIPE PVC-501-1-1/2 is a one-piece combination wye and 1/8 bend fitting designed for PVC drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. This 1-1/2 inch fitting serves gravity-fed waste elimination systems in non-pressure applications where operating temperatures do not exceed 140 degrees F. PVC construction keeps the fitting lightweight, and installation does not require special cutting tools. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting using solvent cement joining, threading, flanging, or roll-grooved methods depending on the application. The single-body design consolidates the wye and sweep into one fitting, reducing joint count and simplifying rough-in work.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial drain, waste, and vent rough-in. The combination wye and 1/8 bend configuration is commonly used where a branch connection needs a directional change off the main DWV stack or horizontal run.
