The CHARLOTTE PIPE PVC 4007 3/4 X 10 is a Schedule 40 PVC pressure and DWV pipe in a 3/4-inch nominal size, supplied in 10-foot plain-end lengths. Manufactured from PVC conforming to ASTM D1784 and D1785, this pipe carries a pressure rating of 480 psi at 73 degrees F and a temperature rating of 140 degrees F. The white finish, 0.113-inch wall thickness, and plain-end connections make it straightforward to cut, prime, and solvent-cement into new or replacement installations. It is made in the USA and backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Plumbers and pipefitters rely on it for its high tensile strength, impact resistance, and better sound-deadening performance compared to DWV foam-core PVC pipe.
This pipe is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems where Schedule 40 PVC is the specified material. Typical applications include drain, waste, and vent (DWV) runs as well as low-pressure water distribution lines. Its plain-end configuration accepts standard Schedule 40 solvent-weld fittings. For any pressure application, sharply angled pressure fittings must be used at directional changes. At 21.1 pounds per 100 feet, the pipe is light enough for one-person handling during rough-in work in walls, floors, and crawl spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-construction pipe for residential and commercial Schedule 40 PVC plumbing systems; accepts standard Schedule 40 plain-end solvent-weld fittings sized for 3/4-inch nominal pipe.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Always shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into an existing system. Primer and solvent cement are required for all joints; do not use this pipe with threaded or compression fittings without an appropriate adapter. For pressure applications, use sharply angled pressure fittings at all directional changes to maintain rating integrity.
