The CHARLOTTE PIPE PVC 08402 1000HA is a Schedule 80 PVC pressure fitting in a tee configuration with female iron pipe (FIP) threads on all three ports. Rated for pressure service, Schedule 80 PVC offers heavier wall thickness than Schedule 40, making it suitable for higher-pressure plumbing and industrial piping applications. All three connections are 1/2 inch FIP threaded, allowing the fitting to receive male-threaded pipe or adapters on the run and branch. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in systems where a threaded branch takeoff of the same size as the main line is required.

This fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, irrigation, chemical distribution, and industrial process piping where Schedule 80 PVC is specified. The all-FIP configuration makes it well suited for systems that use threaded connections throughout, eliminating the need for solvent-weld transitions at the tee.
