Dual-rated for both drain, waste, and vent (DWV) applications and cold water pressure service up to 330 psi, this pipe covers a wide range of residential and light commercial plumbing installations. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this pipe in gravity-drain systems, vent stacks, and cold water supply lines. When used in pressure applications, pressure-rated fittings are required — DWV fittings are not acceptable for pressure service.

This pipe is suited for new construction and retrofit plumbing in residential and commercial buildings. Its Schedule 40 wall thickness meets the dimensional standards required for drain, waste, and vent systems as well as cold water pressure lines. Installation Notes
