The fitting measures 1-1/2 inches by 1-1/2 inches by 3/4 inches and uses a slip x slip x slip connection on all three ports. Manufactured in white PVC, it meets the requirements of ASTM D 2466, the standard specification for Schedule 40 PVC plastic pipe fittings. Plumbers and irrigation technicians install this fitting wherever a branch takeoff at a reduced diameter is needed in a pressurized or gravity-flow PVC system.
