The CHARLOTTE PIPE FOUNDRY CO. PVC 02107 1275HA is a white PVC reducer bushing designed to step down pipe size within a pressurized piping system. The spigot x slip end configuration allows it to insert directly into a fitting socket on one end while accepting pipe on the other, making inline reductions straightforward. It reduces from a 2-inch connection down to a 3/4-inch connection and meets ASTM D 2466 standards for PVC pressure fittings. Plumbers and irrigation installers use this bushing where a mainline must transition to a smaller lateral without cutting in an additional coupling. It ships in a package quantity of 10.
This reducer bushing is suited for residential and commercial sprinkler and irrigation systems where PVC pressure piping requires a size transition. It is also applicable in general plumbing drain, waste, and vent rough-in work where a spigot x slip reducer is required. The white PVC construction resists corrosion and is compatible with standard PVC solvent-cement joining methods. Installers working on low-pressure irrigation laterals or supply branch lines will find this bushing a direct-fit solution for reducing 2-inch mains to 3/4-inch branch connections.
Designed as an OEM-style schedule 40 PVC reducer bushing for use in sprinkler, irrigation, and general PVC pressure piping systems that require a 2-inch to 3/4-inch spigot x slip transition joined with standard PVC solvent cement.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified irrigation technician in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the supply line completely before cutting in or assembling fittings. Prepare mating surfaces with PVC primer before applying solvent cement, and allow full cure time per the cement manufacturer instructions before restoring pressure. Do not use this fitting with CPVC or ABS solvent cements.
