The CHARLOTTE PIPE FOUNDRY CO. PVC 02101 1200HA is a 1-1/4-inch white PVC female adapter designed to connect male-threaded pipe to a slip-fit socket in pressure piping systems. The female threads are located on the inside of the fitting, allowing a male-threaded pipe or fitting to thread directly into it. The slip end accepts a plain-end pipe with solvent cement. This fitting is manufactured to meet ASTM D 2466 standards and is suited for residential and commercial sprinkler and irrigation plumbing where a transition from a slip connection to a threaded connection is required.

This female adapter is commonly installed in sprinkler and irrigation system layouts where a threaded male pipe or valve needs to transition into a solvent-welded PVC line. Installation Notes
