The Charlotte Pipe Foundry PVC 00601 2000HA is a 4-inch by 3-inch reducing wye fitting designed for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. It connects a reducing branch line into a horizontal drain pipe using a hub-by-hub configuration. The fitting accepts standard PVC hub connections on both the main run and the branch outlet. When paired with a compatible twist-type cleanout plug, this wye can also serve as a cleanout access point in the drain line. Licensed plumbers install this fitting during rough-in on residential and light commercial drainage systems.

This reducing wye is used where a 3-inch branch line ties into a 4-inch horizontal drain run. Typical applications include connecting a toilet, lav group, or fixture branch into a main building drain. The hub-by-hub ends accept solvent-welded PVC pipe per standard DWV assembly practice.
