The CHARLOTTE PIPE FOUNDRY CO. PVC 00429 0800HA is a reducing Schedule 40 double sanitary tee fitting designed for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. This all-hub fitting connects 3-inch main run pipe with 1-1/2-inch branch inlets on both sides, allowing two fixture drain lines to tie into a single 3-inch stack or horizontal drain line. Molded from Schedule 40 PVC, the fitting meets the dimensional and pressure standards expected in residential and light commercial plumbing installations. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting during rough-in to consolidate fixture drains from lavatories, tubs, or similar low-flow fixtures into a common waste line.
This double sanitary tee is suited for residential and light commercial DWV applications where two branch drains must connect to a shared 3-inch main. Typical installations include bathroom groups, laundry rooms, and multi-fixture drain configurations. The reducing configuration accommodates 1-1/2-inch branch lines, which are standard for lavatories, standpipes, and similar fixtures. The all-hub design accepts solvent-cemented PVC pipe on all four openings, making it compatible with standard Schedule 40 PVC DWV pipe and fittings throughout the system.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-construction fitting for Schedule 40 PVC DWV piping systems using 3-inch main run pipe and 1-1/2-inch branch connections.
Installation of this fitting is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off the water supply and ensure the drain system is depressurized and clear before cutting into an existing line. All hub connections require proper PVC primer and solvent cement applied per the cement manufacturer's instructions and ASTM standards. Support piping per code to prevent stress on cemented joints during cure time.
