The Charlotte Pipe PVC 00429 0600HA is a reducing double sanitary tee fitting manufactured from Schedule 40 PVC for use in drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. This all-hub fitting accepts 2-inch pipe on the run inlets and outlet, with 1-1/2-inch hub connections on both branch openings. The double sanitary tee configuration allows two branch drain lines to tie into a single vertical or horizontal stack at the same elevation. Licensed plumbers install this fitting in residential and light commercial DWV rough-in applications where two fixture drains must connect to a common stack.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems where multiple fixtures drain into a shared stack. Common applications include back-to-back bathroom rough-ins and laundry or utility drain tie-ins where a compact double-branch connection point is needed. The all-hub design accepts solvent-welded PVC pipe on all four openings. It is appropriate for gravity-flow drain and vent lines in accordance with applicable plumbing codes including the IPC and UPC.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use fitting for Schedule 40 PVC DWV piping systems using 2-inch and 1-1/2-inch pipe.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in compliance with local plumbing codes referencing the IPC or UPC. Shut off the water supply and ensure the drain system is clear before cutting into an existing stack. Clean and prime all hub sockets and pipe ends before applying PVC solvent cement; do not skip the primer step on DWV fittings. Verify proper slope and support of all horizontal drain runs per code before final inspection.
