The Charlotte Pipe Foundry Co. ABS 00708P 0600HA is a 1-1/2 inch ABS DWV P-Trap with union, supplied without a cleanout. It is designed to hold a water seal that blocks sewer gas from migrating back through the drain line and into the living space. The trap is molded from black ABS material and is rated for non-pressure drain, waste, and vent applications. Licensed plumbers install this fitting during new construction and renovation work on residential fixtures such as lavatories, laundry tubs, and similar drain connections. The union joint allows for tool-free disassembly during service without cutting the drain line.
This P-trap is suited for non-pressure DWV installations in residential plumbing systems. It connects to 1-1/2 inch drain lines and is appropriate for use beneath sinks, lavatories, and other fixtures that require a code-compliant trap assembly. The union configuration simplifies access for clearing blockages or servicing the trap body without requiring additional fittings. It is not intended for pressure piping, potable water supply, or outdoor UV-exposed installations. This SKU is packaged in a quantity of 25 units per package, making it practical for stocking on service vehicles or at the supply house counter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 1-1/2 inch non-pressure ABS DWV drain, waste, and vent piping systems in residential construction.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code and applicable local amendments. Shut off the water supply to the fixture before removing an existing trap. ABS solvent cement and primer must be used per the fitting and cement manufacturer instructions for any solvent-welded connections; the union joint itself does not require cement. Do not use this fitting in pressure piping, hot water supply lines, or applications with exposure to prolonged direct sunlight.
