The fitting measures 3 inches on the main run inlets and outlets and 2 inches on both branch outlets, with a hub-by-hub-by-hub-by-hub connection configuration. It is manufactured from black ABS material. Licensed plumbers install this fitting in residential and light commercial DWV rough-in work where code-compliant, non-pressure drain and vent configurations are required.
This double sanitary tee is suited for non-pressure drain, waste, and vent installations in residential and commercial construction. It is used where two branch lines — typically from separate fixtures such as a lavatory and a secondary drain — need to connect to a common 3-inch main stack or horizontal run at the same point. The hub connections accept standard ABS pipe and ABS solvent cement, keeping the installation straightforward. Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off water supply and ensure the drain line is clear and dry before cutting into an existing stack. Clean and deburr pipe ends, apply ABS primer where required by local code, then apply ABS solvent cement to both the pipe end and hub socket before joining. Do not use this fitting in pressurized supply lines or applications that exceed its non-pressure DWV service rating.
