The CHARLOTTE PIPE FOUNDRY CO. ABS 00401 1200HA is a black ABS sanitary tee fitting designed for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. It accepts a 3-inch main line on the run and reduces to a 1-1/2-inch branch outlet, all via hub connections. This fitting allows a smaller branch line to be made off a main drainage line without the use of separate reducers. It is intended strictly for non-pressure DWV applications and carries a low chemical resistance rating. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting during rough-in stages of residential and light commercial plumbing projects.
