The Charlotte Pipe Foundry ABS 00326 0800HA is a 2-inch ABS DWV 22.5-degree street elbow designed for non-pressure drain, waste, and vent piping systems. The spigot x hub end configuration allows this fitting to connect directly into the hub of another compatible DWV fitting without requiring an additional coupling, saving space and reducing joint count in tight runs. Constructed from black ABS material, it is lightweight and easy to cement. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters use this fitting in residential and light commercial drainage rough-in work where a shallow directional change is needed in horizontal or vertical drain lines.
This street elbow is suited for non-pressure DWV applications in residential and light commercial construction. The 22.5-degree angle allows gradual directional changes in drain, waste, and vent runs where a sharper 45- or 90-degree elbow would create excessive flow restriction or clearance issues. It is commonly installed in below-slab, in-wall, and overhead drainage configurations. The spigot end inserts directly into a hub fitting, making it a practical choice when transitioning direction off an existing tee, wye, or elbow hub without adding extra pipe between fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style DWV fitting for non-pressure residential and light commercial ABS drain, waste, and vent piping systems with 2-inch pipe and fittings.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or applicable local code. Shut off water supply and ensure the drain line is empty and dry before cutting into an existing system. Clean and dry all mating surfaces before applying ABS solvent cement, and follow cement manufacturer's cure time requirements before flowing water through the joint. This fitting is not rated for pressure systems, hot water supply lines, or applications requiring high chemical resistance.
