The CHARLOTTE PIPE FOUNDRY CO. ABS 00300 1000HA is a 3-inch, 90-degree hub x hub elbow designed for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. Constructed from ABS plastic, this fitting changes the direction of drainage flow by 90 degrees and accepts solvent weld connections for a secure, leak-resistant joint. It is rated for non-pressure applications with a maximum working pressure of 5 psi. The black ABS construction is lightweight and resistant to typical drain-side conditions. Licensed plumbers install this fitting as part of residential and light commercial DWV rough-in work.
This elbow is used in DWV installation systems to redirect wastewater flow from plumbing fixtures and to support proper air circulation within drainage piping. The hub x hub (1/4-inch bend) configuration accepts standard 3-inch ABS pipe on both ends. It is suited for horizontal and vertical drain runs in residential construction and renovation projects where ABS DWV piping is the system of choice. This fitting ships in a package quantity of 25 units, making it appropriate for contractor bulk purchasing on active job sites.
Designed for use with 3-inch ABS DWV piping systems in drain, waste, and vent installations. Compatible with solvent weld ABS pipe and fittings per standard DWV system configurations. Not intended for pressure piping applications.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes governing DWV systems. Power or water supply does not apply to this fitting, but the drain system should be depressurized and dry before solvent welding. Use ABS solvent cement only — do not apply primer to ABS fittings, as primer is not compatible with this material and can degrade the joint. Allow adequate cure time per the solvent cement manufacturer instructions before pressurizing or flowing the system.
