The CHARLOTTE PIPE FOUNDRY CO. ABS 00116 0600HA is a 1-1/2-inch ABS hub cap designed for non-pressure drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. It seats over the spigot end of a matching ABS pipe to permanently close off the line during rough-in, testing, or final termination. The cap is molded from black ABS thermoplastic, which provides adequate chemical resistance for standard residential and light commercial DWV service. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting as part of above-ground or in-wall DWV assemblies where a clean, solvent-welded termination is required.

This cap is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications including drain, waste, and vent stacks, branch lines, and stub-outs that need to be sealed before fixture connections are made or during pressure testing of the rough-in system. It is not rated for pressure service or outdoor UV-exposed installations. The fitting is sold in packs of 10 units, making it practical for multi-unit rough-in work or service van stock.
