The CHARLOTTE PIPE FOUNDRY CO. ABS 00105 1000HA is a 3-inch ABS DWV cleanout body adapter designed for non-pressure drain, waste, and vent piping systems. The spigot end solvent welds into a fitting hub, while the female iron pipe (FIP) threaded end accepts a male threaded cleanout plug. This conventional threaded cleanout fitting is manufactured from black ABS material and is suited for residential and light commercial DWV rough-in work. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this type of fitting.

This adapter is used in non-pressure drain, waste, and vent installations where accessible cleanout access points are required by code. The spigot-by-FIP configuration allows the body to be integrated directly into an ABS hub fitting while providing a threaded opening for a removable cleanout plug. Installation Notes

The spigot end requires solvent cement rated for ABS pipe and fittings — do not use PVC-only cement on ABS. Cleanout plugs must be accessible per code and should not be permanently sealed.
