The CHARLOTTE PIPE 3890 is suited for residential and commercial pressurized liquid distribution systems where a 6-inch diameter socket-style 45-degree elbow is required. Its SCH 40 wall thickness makes it appropriate for standard-pressure underground and above-ground applications. This fitting is intended exclusively for the distribution of pressurized liquids and is not rated for gas, compressed air, or drainage of non-compatible fluids.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Depressurize and drain the line completely before cutting into an existing system. Use only PVC-rated solvent cement and primer formulated for the pipe schedule and service conditions. Do not use this fitting for gas lines, compressed air, or any service outside the rated pressure and temperature limits.
