The CHAPIN 1979 is a 3.5-gallon hand-pump sprayer built for chemical-resistant concrete applications. The tank is constructed from coated steel and rated to a maximum working pressure of 60 psi. A Tri-Lock seal feature locks the pump cap tightly to prevent pressure loss during operation. Synthetic rubber seals and gaskets resist degradation from harsh concrete treatments and chemical solutions. A brass wand and brass nozzle deliver a focused stream pattern, and the reinforced hose holds up under repeated flexing. The wide-mouth opening measures 4 inches in diameter for fast, clean filling and easy tank cleaning. Licensed contractors and concrete surface professionals are the primary users of this tool.
The CHAPIN 1979 is suited for applying concrete sealers, curing compounds, and chemical surface treatments in both residential and light commercial settings. The poly holster keeps the 24-inch brass wand and nozzles secured to the tank when the unit is not in use, reducing jobsite clutter. The coated steel tank resists corrosion from the acidic and alkaline solutions commonly used in concrete surface preparation and maintenance. This sprayer is intended for ground-level hand-carried use on flatwork, hardscape, and masonry surfaces.
Designed for use with concrete sealers, curing compounds, and chemical surface treatments. Synthetic rubber seals are rated for chemical-safe service; verify compatibility of the specific chemical solution with coated steel and synthetic rubber components before filling.
No permanent installation is required. Before filling, inspect the pump cap seal and hose connections for wear or chemical degradation. Always relieve tank pressure by opening the pump cap slowly before refilling or performing any service on the wand or nozzle. Follow the chemical manufacturer's safety data sheet for required PPE when handling concrete treatments and sealers.
