Cgw Abrasives 53002 is a 6-inch Type 27 Z3 40-grit regular flap disc with a 7/8-inch arbor for grinding and finishing. The Z3 zirconia alumina abrasive on a poly-cotton heat-treated backing provides aggressive stock removal on steel and stainless steel. The depressed center (T27) design yields a flat grinding surface; maximum operating speed is 10,200 RPM. Typical uses include weld removal, beveling, edge deburring, and surface blending.
