The CGW 42325 is a Type 29 zirconia alumina flap disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal surfaces. Measuring 4-1/2 inches in diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor hole, this disc runs at an angled grinding position typical of Type 29 geometry, which increases surface contact and stock removal compared to a flat Type 27 profile. The Z3 zirconia grain is a self-sharpening abrasive that maintains cut rate longer than standard aluminum oxide, making it well-suited for sustained grinding on mild steel, stainless steel, and weld seams.
