The CGW 39921 is an aluminum oxide flap wheel designed for deburring, blending, and light stock removal on metal, wood, and composite surfaces. It features a 1/4-inch shank for use in standard die grinders and drill presses, with a firm backing that maintains consistent abrasive contact throughout the wheel's service life. The 60-grit aluminum oxide construction provides a medium cut rate suitable for surface conditioning and weld blending. Each box contains 10 wheels. This product is used by machinists, welders, pipefitters, and fabricators requiring a reliable, repeatable abrasive for finishing inside bores, contoured edges, and tight workspaces.
The CGW 39921 flap wheel is suited for use in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field repair applications where controlled surface finishing is required. The 1.5-inch diameter by 1-inch face width geometry makes it effective for internal diameter work, slot finishing, and edge blending on pipe, tube, and plate. The 1/4-inch shank is the industry-standard mount for pneumatic and electric die grinders. Sold in boxes of 10, this wheel is well-suited to production environments where consistent replenishment of abrasive tooling is needed.
Designed for use with pneumatic and electric die grinders and drill presses accepting a 1/4-inch shank abrasive tooling.
Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians familiar with rotary abrasive tooling. Before mounting, confirm the tool spindle speed rating meets or exceeds the maximum RPM rating of the flap wheel. Secure the shank fully into the collet or chuck and tighten to the tool manufacturer specification before operating. Always wear appropriate eye and face protection when using rotary abrasives.
