The CERRO FLOW PRODUCTS 1095 is a Type M, light-wall, hard-temper copper tube manufactured from C12200 copper to ASTM B88 standards. It measures 1-1/4 inch nominal size with an outside diameter of 1.375 inches, an inside diameter of 1.291 inches, and a wall thickness of 0.042 inches. Each straight length runs 20 feet and weighs 12.69 pounds. Drawn construction produces consistent wall thickness and a smooth interior bore. The red color marking identifies it as Type M at a glance. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this tube in residential and light commercial systems for general plumbing, hydronic heating, and DWV applications.
This tube is suited for general plumbing and heating service, drain-waste-vent installations, and other light-pressure applications in both residential and commercial construction. Hard temper makes it well-suited for straight runs where rigid, unsupported spans are required. It joins with standard sweat, press, or push-fit fittings using capillary or mechanical methods, eliminating the need for threading. Its drawn bore and consistent wall dimensions support clean, leak-free joints with standard copper fittings. Contractors working on new construction and remodel projects routinely specify Type M for domestic water distribution and low-pressure hydronic loops.
Designed for general plumbing, heating, and DWV applications where Type M copper tube is specified. Meets UL, CSA, IAPMO, WQA, ANSI/NSF 61, and EPA standards, making it acceptable under virtually all major North American plumbing codes for light-pressure service.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable local plumbing code, IPC, or IFGC requirements. Shut off and drain the water supply before cutting into any existing line. Use a sharp tube cutter to produce a clean, square cut, and ream the cut end fully before fluxing and soldering or assembling press fittings. Hard-temper tube should not be bent in the field; use fittings to change direction.
