The CENTURY WIRE CABLE d14410050bl is a 50-foot, 3-conductor SJTW lighted extension cord rated at 125 volts, 15 amps, and 1875 watts. It features a patented locking connector design that prevents accidental disconnection during use. When a standard 15A 125V 3-conductor male plug is inserted into the female connector, it locks in place. To disconnect, the user presses down on the collar and pulls free. The cord also includes continuous ground monitoring (CGM), which provides an active indication of ground integrity throughout the circuit. Built with 10 AWG conductors, this cord is suited for demanding commercial and industrial electrical work where reliable, uninterrupted power delivery is critical.
This extension cord is designed for commercial and industrial jobsite environments where accidental cord disconnection is a safety or productivity risk. The locking connector and CGM feature make it well suited for power tool operation, temporary lighting, and equipment hookups in active work zones. Electricians and contractors working in busy commercial construction, maintenance, or industrial settings will find the locking mechanism and ground monitoring particularly useful. The blue SJTW jacket is weather-resistant, supporting outdoor and indoor use across a wide temperature range.
Designed for use with standard 15A 125V 3-conductor male plugs. Compatible with NEMA 5-15P male connectors in commercial and industrial extension cord applications.
Installation and use of this extension cord should follow applicable NEC requirements for temporary wiring and extension cord use on jobsites. Always de-energize the upstream circuit before connecting or disconnecting the cord from a power source. Do not exceed the rated 15A 1875W load capacity. Inspect the cord jacket, conductors, and locking collar for damage before each use, and remove from service if the ground monitoring indicator signals a loss of ground continuity.
