The CENTAUR RDF - 139 is a Series 75 AF collet designed to hold workpieces ranging from 3/4 inch to 49/64 inch (0.7656 inches maximum decimal capacity). Collets of this type are used in milling machines, lathes, and machining centers to grip round stock, tooling, or workpiece material with consistent concentricity. The RDF - 139 measures 1.13 inches in overall diameter and 2.02 inches in overall length. It is installed and serviced by machinists and tool room technicians working in precision metal fabrication, production machining, and maintenance machine shops.
The RDF - 139 fits applications where a Series 75 AF collet chuck or compatible spindle nose is already in use. It is suited to both light and medium-duty turning and milling operations where accurate, repeatable tool or workpiece clamping within the 3/4 inch to 49/64 inch capacity range is required. The compact overall length of 2.02 inches makes it appropriate for setups where spindle clearance is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit collet for machine spindles and collet chucks accepting Series 75 AF collets within the 3/4 inch to 49/64 inch capacity range.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tool room technician. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing a collet. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips, burrs, or wear before seating the collet. Do not exceed the stated maximum collet capacity, as overloading a collet can cause runout or workpiece ejection.
