The CENTAUR 70033 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG/PG 100 toolholding systems. It accepts a 0.5938 inch (19/32 inch) workpiece or tool shank and delivers a total indicated runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inch, providing the concentricity required for precision machining operations. The collet measures 2.38 inches in overall length with a maximum body diameter of 1.38 inches. It is installed by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC setup personnel working with TG/PG 100 collet chucks and toolholders on milling machines, lathes, and machining centers.
This collet is suited for production and toolroom environments where consistent grip and minimal runout are required. The TG/PG 100 series is a widely used toolholding standard in vertical and horizontal machining center applications. The 70033 fits setups where a 19/32 inch bore capacity is needed within a TG 100 or PG 100 compatible chuck body. It is appropriate for both light and moderate-duty cutting operations where dimensional accuracy at the spindle is a priority.
Designed for use with TG 100 and PG 100 series collet chucks and toolholders accepting a 0.5938 inch bore collet.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. The spindle and machine must be fully powered down and at rest before inserting or removing collets. Inspect the collet bore and chuck body for chips or debris before seating the collet, as contamination directly affects runout. Use the appropriate spanner wrench or chuck nut tool specified for TG/PG 100 toolholders — do not use pipe wrenches or improvised tools on precision toolholding components.
