The CENTAUR 70019 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG/PG 100 collet systems. It accepts a 0.375 inch (3/8 inch) tool shank and provides a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for applications where consistent concentricity is required. The collet measures 2.375 inches in overall length with a maximum body diameter of 1.375 inches. It is installed in compatible TG/PG 100 toolholders found on milling machines, machining centers, and CNC equipment across production and job-shop environments. Machinists and toolroom technicians are the primary users of this collet style.
This collet is used in TG/PG 100 toolholding systems for holding round-shank cutting tools such as end mills, drills, and reamers. It is appropriate for both manual and CNC machining setups where a secure, accurate grip on a 3/8 inch diameter shank is needed. The single angle design is the standard configuration for TG/PG 100 series collets and is compatible with the full range of TG/PG 100 toolholders used in light to medium-duty cutting operations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard collet for TG/PG 100 series toolholders accepting a 0.375 inch round-shank tool.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Before installing or removing the collet, ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and at a complete stop. Use the appropriate TG/PG 100 spanner wrench or collet nut wrench to seat and tighten the collet nut — do not use pipe wrenches or improvised tools that can damage the collet or nut threads. Inspect the collet bore and toolholder taper for chips or contamination before assembly, as debris will degrade runout performance.
