The CENTAUR 50039 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG75 and PG75 collet systems. It accepts a 0.6875-inch (11/16 inch) tool shank and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications where concentricity matters. With a body diameter of 1.06 inches and an overall length of 1.84 inches, this collet fits standard TG75/PG75 toolholding chucks found on milling machines, machining centers, and similar CNC or manual equipment. Machinists and toolroom technicians install and service these collets as part of routine toolholding maintenance and setup.
This collet is intended for use in TG75 and PG75 series toolholding systems, commonly found in production machining environments across both job shops and manufacturing facilities. It accommodates a 0.6875-inch diameter cutting tool or workholding shank. The standard single angle design is the most widely used collet geometry in TG/PG series chucks, providing reliable clamping force and repeatable tool positioning during metalcutting operations.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 series collet chucks accepting a 0.6875-inch bore collet.
Collet installation and removal should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per applicable safety procedures. Use the correct spanner wrench or collet nut wrench for the TG75/PG75 chuck to avoid damaging the collet nut or chuck body. Inspect the collet bore and chuck taper for chips or debris before seating the collet. Do not exceed the rated clamping range of the collet series.
