The CENTAUR 50037 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG75 and PG75 collet systems. It accepts a 0.6563 inch (21/32 inch) tool shank and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications where concentricity matters. The body diameter measures 1.06 inches with an overall length (OAL) of 1.84 inches. This collet is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in CNC machining centers, lathes, and manual milling equipment that use the TG75 or PG75 collet standard.
This collet fits TG75 and PG75 collet chucks and is used in both production and job-shop environments. Typical applications include end mill holding, drill holding, and reamer holding in vertical and horizontal machining centers. The 21/32 inch bore size accommodates a wide range of common tool shank diameters used in general-purpose and precision machining operations. It is packaged individually and sold in single-unit quantities.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 series collet chucks accepting a 0.6563 inch tool shank.
Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the chuck is de-energized or disengaged before inserting or removing the collet. Clean the collet bore and chuck taper of chips, coolant, and debris before seating the collet to maintain runout specifications. Follow the machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when tightening the collet nut.
