The CENTAUR 50025 is a standard single angle collet designed for TG75 and PG75 toolholding systems used in precision machining operations. With a bore size of 0.4688 inches (15/32 inch) and a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, this collet provides the concentricity control that production and job-shop machinists depend on for consistent tool holding. The body diameter measures 1.06 inches and the overall length is 1.84 inches. It is suited for milling, drilling, and tapping applications where repeatable tool positioning and low runout are required.
This collet fits TG75 and PG75 collet chucks commonly used in vertical and horizontal machining centers, CNC mills, and manual milling machines. The 15/32 inch bore accommodates round shank tooling of the corresponding diameter. It is installed and serviced by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC setup personnel in both production and prototype environments.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 collet chuck systems accepting standard single angle collets with a 0.4688 inch bore.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the spindle fully stopped and the machine locked out per applicable safety procedures. Collet and chuck mating surfaces should be cleaned and inspected for damage or debris before assembly, as contamination directly affects TIR. Use the appropriate collet wrench and nut specified for TG75 or PG75 systems. Do not exceed the chuck manufacturer's recommended torque range for the collet nut.
