The CENTAUR 50021 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG75 and PG75 collet systems. It accepts a 0.4063-inch (13/32-inch) tool shank and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining and toolholding applications. With a body diameter of 1.06 inches and an overall length of 1.84 inches, this collet fits within the dimensional envelope standard to TG75 toolholding systems. Machinists and tool crib technicians working with CNC machining centers, lathes, or manual mills use this collet to secure cutting tools, drills, and end mills with consistent concentricity and repeatable grip force.
This collet is intended for use in TG75 and PG75 collet chucks found in both light industrial and production machining environments. It is appropriate for shops running high-speed cutting operations where low runout is critical for tool life and surface finish. The 13/32-inch bore size accommodates a wide range of standard shank tooling used in general-purpose and precision milling setups.
Designed for use in TG75 and PG75 collet chuck systems. Accepts 0.4063-inch (13/32-inch) shank tooling. Verify collet series and bore size against your toolholder specifications before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before removing or installing collets. Clean the collet taper and chuck bore thoroughly before seating the collet to prevent runout caused by chips or debris. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's recommended torque when tightening the collet nut.
