The CENTAUR 50013 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG75 and PG75 collet systems. It accepts a 0.2813 inch (9/32 inch) tool shank and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining operations where concentricity matters. The collet measures 1.84 inches in overall length with a maximum body diameter of 1.06 inches. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians working with TG75 or PG75 toolholding systems on CNC and manual machine tools.
This collet is used in production and toolroom environments where TG75 or PG75 collet chucks are present. Typical applications include milling, drilling, and reaming operations requiring secure, repeatable tool clamping at the 9/32 inch bore size. The standard single angle geometry is the most common configuration for general-purpose toolholding in these collet series. It is appropriate for both light and moderate cutting loads in a shop environment.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 collet chuck systems requiring a 0.2813 inch bore collet.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Before installing or removing the collet, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is removed from the machine. Clean the collet and chuck bore thoroughly before seating to ensure accurate runout. Inspect the collet for wear or damage before each use, as a damaged collet can compromise TIR and workholding integrity.
