The CENTAUR 50010 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG75 and PG75 collet systems. It holds workpieces or cutting tools at a consistent grip with a Total Indicator Runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining operations. The collet has a body diameter of 1.06 inches and an overall length of 1.84 inches. It accepts tooling at a 0.2344 inch (15/64 inch) bore size. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet into compatible TG75 or PG75 tool holders as part of CNC machining, milling, or grinding setups where repeatable tool positioning is required.
This collet is used in both manual and CNC machining environments where TG75 or PG75 standard collet holders are installed. The 0.2344 inch bore size accommodates round-shank cutting tools and workholding applications at that diameter. It is a direct-fit component for production shops, toolrooms, and job shops running equipment configured for the TG75 or PG75 collet series. The low TIR rating supports consistent results across repeated tool changes.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 series collet holders accepting a 0.2344 inch bore standard single angle collet.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing collets. Use the appropriate collet nut and torque wrench specified for the TG75 or PG75 holder system. Inspect the collet bore and holder taper for debris or damage before seating the collet to maintain TIR performance.
