The CENTAUR 50002 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG75 and PG75 collet systems. It accepts a 0.1094-inch (7/64-inch) tool shank and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications where concentricity matters. The collet measures 1.84 inches overall length with a maximum body diameter of 1.06 inches. It is installed by machinists and toolroom professionals in CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining centers equipped with compatible TG75 or PG75 toolholding systems.
This collet is used in both production and toolroom environments where TG or PG 75-series toolholding is the standard. The 7/64-inch bore size suits small-diameter cutting tools such as end mills, drills, and reamers. It is a direct fit for TG75 and PG75 chucks and collet holders without modification. Typical applications include light to medium milling, drilling, and reaming operations requiring reliable grip and repeatable tool positioning.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 series collet chucks and toolholders accepting standard single angle collets with a 0.1094-inch bore.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. The spindle must be fully stopped and all energy isolated before changing collets. Clean the collet bore, chuck taper, and mating surfaces before installation to ensure proper seating and accurate TIR. Do not exceed the rated grip range or force-fit the collet into an incompatible chuck series.
