The CEJN 10 340 5402 is a stainless steel pneumatic hose coupling designed for compressed air and pneumatic fluid conveyance in industrial service environments. It uses a 1/4 inch female NPT (FNPT) threaded connection and follows the Industrial Interchange coupling standard, making it a widely compatible connector in shop and facility pneumatic systems. The body diameter is 1/4 inch, and the part is rated to a maximum working pressure of 507 psi. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in wet, washdown, or chemically active environments. Licensed HVAC, mechanical, and industrial technicians routinely specify this connector for compressed air distribution lines and pneumatic tool hookups.
This coupling is suited for industrial and light commercial compressed air systems where a standardized quick-connect or threaded connector is required at the hose or tool interface. The Industrial Interchange profile is one of the most common standards found in manufacturing, maintenance, and mechanical service environments. The FNPT thread type allows direct connection to standard pipe-threaded ports on compressors, regulators, manifolds, and air-tool inlets. Operating temperature range spans -22 degrees F to 212 degrees F, covering typical indoor and light-duty outdoor service conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit connector for pneumatic systems using the Industrial Interchange standard with 1/4 inch FNPT ported components.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician after fully depressurizing and locking out the compressed air supply. Apply thread sealant tape or pipe dope rated for compressed air service to all NPT threads before assembly. Tighten to snug-plus-turns per standard pipe-thread practice — do not overtighten stainless-to-stainless connections to avoid galling. Verify system pressure does not exceed the 507 psi working pressure rating of this coupling before returning the line to service.
